I have plenty of referrals left if anyone needs them, Best bet is to just e-mail me and I would be glad to give you one. I have cashed out numerous times from this site and like it. OTX Referral Exchange - June 21, 2005
If you're came here from the homepage or one of the survey directories, this is the referral exchange for OTX Surveys. Here, we are exchanging referrals to OTX and once you signup you can do the same. If you prefer not to participate in our referral exchange, then you can access the OTX site directly by clicking here: OTX Survey Exchange. If you would like to participate then read on. [b:d310b52f96]If you are NOT already an OTX member: [/b:d310b52f96] Look here to see if anyone has posted that they still have referrals, pick someone at random from the list below, so that everyone get a chance for some referrals. If someone does, either email them or send them a private message through the forum requesting an invite. Be sure to send them your email address. Don't reply to the post, as this will just make things messy. Use email or Private message. DO NOT request an invite unless you intend on signing up. This will waste someones referral. Also DO NOT request an invite from more than one person at a time. Once you have recieved your invite and have signed up, come back here and post that you now have invitations available. [b:d310b52f96]If you are an OTX member:[/b:d310b52f96] Post here if you have invites available. Send out referral emails through the OTX website when you get a request. If you have reached your limit on invites, please respond back to anyone who has requested an invite from you which you are not able to send. That person can then request an invite from someone else. Once you have reached your limit, come back here and delete your post stating that you have invites available. and [b:d310b52f96]ONLY[/b:d310b52f96] use this topic to post that you have referrals left. Do NOT post replies or other OTX comments - they will be deleted. Start a new topic or post to one of the other OTX topics available.

OTX has its own panel and pays well... - June 20, 2005
I am sure that a lot of you have already taken OTX surveys through sites like GoZing, Greenfield or SurveySpot. A friend of mine sent me a link to what seems to be their own panel. It's called OTX Survey Exchange and looks like any other panel sites. Cool graphics but who cares... The good news is that they still offer points for every survey :D (instead of drawings like SurveySpot). Even better news, you don't need any plug-in anymore for their surveys, which was a pain in the a**. Note the URL because it's not easy to remember, and I haven't seen any banner so far for them : http://www.otxsx.com They seem to have also a reward program if you refer friends, but I haven't checked if it pays well yet. Let me know if you find more about it! C.

Yep they sure do. - June 21, 2005
Good find. Points system, exchange for various gift certificates. There is also a referral system. Unfotunately it's limited to 5 referrals per person. Referall gets you 20% of your referrals earned points, for 1 year. I'm going to start a sticky post where we all can exchage referrals to sign up.

You can get to it 2 ways - June 22, 2005
You can either go to any of the directories, find the site you'd like to review, and then click on the "More info" or "Full info and Reviews" link for that site. You'll then be taken to the detail page for that site, scroll down to the "User Reviews" and there will be a link to submit a review. OR, on the home page, I've got an announcement for the giveaway. Click on that link and you'll get the details for the drawing. On that page there's a link directly to the add review page. OR click here /adReview.php

Where do I find "user review"? - June 22, 2005
Hi Chris, I'm not able to find the "user review"? Thanks, Michelle

Has anyone else had problems posting a user review??? - June 20, 2005
I've had one person report a problem posting a user review. I've changed the error reporting for this feature so that it'll (hopefully) give me some relevant information on the problem. I am unable to reproduce the error. I've tried everyway possible to get it to error out on me, but it always works. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone who is unable to submit a user review would post the error message they recieve so that I can track it down. Also, if you have tried to submit a review, and are just plain frustrated that it will not work, you can send me an email with your review information and I'll make sure it gets posted. Thanks in advance for any info that you can provide.

I've never played KERclink. I just don't like having ads pop-up while I am browsing the Internet.

Re: Kerclink Payout - February 8, 2006

It's low going at first - February 4, 2006
When I started with KerClink it took me Nine Months to get my first $10 check. You have to do all the steps in order to make money faster. Download, Play and PROMOTE. Promotion is the key to KerClink. Build a free website somewhere. Put the advertising that KerClink provides (they will give you a number you can use to promote the program). Then use Clickthru, or some other "link exchange" to get your link out there. Don't forget to download KerClink Elite. You don't have to pay the subscription until you make enough with the free KerClink to justifiy it. You will be surprised at how after a couple of months things start rolling. Visit my page for some idea of how yours should look. http://www.angelfire.com/ks2/kam2/index.html

- February 4, 2006
I started doing kerclink about the middle of january and ended up with about 3000 kerclinks at the end of the month. For that I got a total of 5 cents. Oh well, better than nothing. I dont really look at it for making too much money, just a cool distraction to play some cool games and than occasionally get the ten dollar check. I would like to know some ways to get more clinks faster.

- January 22, 2006
they can't tell you the conversion because it varies each month... i live in a household with 4 other people so someone is almost always playing and i havent received a chack for more then 40 dollars in a month...

no answers here or by email - November 6, 2005
I have been trying to contact midtenmedia about the conversion from clinks to cash since the 1st of november. I even called them and they told me it would be a few days, but now I"m starting to get a little leary of them. When I get responses by email, there is a link in the email that I am supposed to click to view their response, but when i click on the link all i get is "page cannot be displayed" and "cannot find server". I'm getting a little upset that I can't get a decent response neither here or by email. Can someone please help?

problem - November 4, 2005
i have been a member for awhile. Had computer problem. Had to rtedownload software. It asks for email address and password. I have forgotten it. I contacted them. I am not hearing anything back. What do I do?

kerclink payout - November 1, 2005
I started kerclink in the middle of October and have accumulated over 46,000 clinks. I don't see anything converted to cash yet, nor can I play any games anymore because it says "page cannot be displayed". Is something wrong? I sent an email but no response yet. Thanks for any help.

my first month - July 18, 2005
can anyone tell me what Klinks are worth at the end of the month, on average? This is my first month. I love the hangman game, and get most of them right. I heard someone compiled a list of that game???

I tend to disagree.... - July 17, 2005
I've been KerClinking for 2 months. Received 2 checks for almost $20.00 each. I love the game.

Kerclink Payout - July 17, 2005

With a 10 dollar payout minimum, there is virtually no way to ever see the money. Its not worth the aggrevation of the Kink popup interrupting things on my computer all the time. Do You KerClink? - June 20, 2005
:D [b:b860ad994d][u:b860ad994d]Welcome To The KerClink Forum![/size:b860ad994d][/u:b860ad994d][/b:b860ad994d] :) My name is  Keith and I will be your host. First for the uninformed: 1 - KerClink is a small program that is a Mini-Browser. 2 - Once Downloaded it will present you with Ads for you to look at (and click on) 3 - Spaced among these ads are games that will reward you with either money or Clinks 4 - KerClink is not spyware, adware, it does not track what you do in any way. Note: Clinks are collected and exchanged for cash at the end of each month. The value of Clinks varies depending on KerClinks revenue. The more you click on the ads, the more the Clinks are worth. The money rewards are 1 cent to a quarter. Depending on the game. KerClink pays out when you have reached $10. Please feel free to post all game hints, questions, comments, ideas and any other KerClink related Material Here. If you join our forum and send me an email I will send you a very long list of words to help you with KerClink's version of "Hangman". Props to Pam for for Jazzing up the list and a big THANK YOU to Chris for giving us a place to meet! Download KerClink from their website: http://www.kerclink.com/

Yeah, I'm still waiting to win really big. - August 3, 2005
I'm holding out for one of the $10,000 drawings from Lightspeed or NFO. I figure if I login enough, within the next 50 years or so, I'm bound to win eventually, Right?? - lol. Of course I did win a nice surround sound system once (and got to have my mug shot prominently displayed on the "Your Say" website for about a month) so maybe I already used up all my luck. Well, it's good to stay positive anyways. Good luck all.

Sweepstake Drawings - August 3, 2005
Ditto on that saxquiz...I have won smaller sweeps as well at other survey sites....

- August 2, 2005
Yes, congrats. I like to see when people win (even if it's not me) so I know that they are actually drawing names and not just saying they are. Now to win one of the thousand dollar ones =).

Awesome - June 18, 2005
Glad to hear when someone wins. Congrats.

I won $100 - June 18, 2005
Just thought I would pass this tid-bit of info. on...I won $100 sweeps at IPSOS I-Say this week.!!! This is the 2nd time in 6 months I have won $100 at their site. I wonder if they have a limit on how much/often you can win??? Regards, Pink Panther76 I tried to put this post in with IPSOS that was already a topic started and I think I hit post a new topic button by mistake. I don't know how to fix it so the moderator will have to move it please....Thank-you

Sorry to be such a bother - June 20, 2005
OK, I've changed the error reporting on that page, so if you go in and try to submit a review and it doesn't work, it should give you a different error message that I will find most useful in trying to figure this out. If you wouldn't mind trying again and then sending me the error message, that'd be great. Also if you wouldn't mind looking at the following info when you get to the page that gives you a choice to "Edit" or "Submit". You should have: Username: [i:9dc5f3e119]shygirl[/i:9dc5f3e119] ip: [i:9dc5f3e119]your ip address[/i:9dc5f3e119] [b:9dc5f3e119][i:9dc5f3e119]GoZing[/i:9dc5f3e119][/b:9dc5f3e119] Overall Rating: ([i:9dc5f3e119]a number[/i:9dc5f3e119]) Stars picture Survey Frequency: ([i:9dc5f3e119]number[/i:9dc5f3e119]) Star picture Survey Quality: ([i:9dc5f3e119]number[/i:9dc5f3e119]) Star picture Survey Compensation: ([i:9dc5f3e119]number[/i:9dc5f3e119]) Star picture Timely Payment: ([i:9dc5f3e119]number[/i:9dc5f3e119]) Star picture Overall/Other: ([i:9dc5f3e119]number[/i:9dc5f3e119]) Star picture [b:9dc5f3e119]Review Text[/b:9dc5f3e119] [i:9dc5f3e119]Whatever you wrote for a review[/i:9dc5f3e119] Anything above in italics should be there and should be what you entered on the previous page. If one of these is missing, you'll get an error. Of course my site is not supposed to let you have anything missing, but.... If you could let me know if any of this info is missing, that'd be awesome. Also, if you wouldn't mind copying the url for that page and posting it and if you could then hit the submit button and if you have the same error, copy and pasting the url for that error page as well. I hate to ask so much, but I can't get it to error out, no matter how I submit a review.

OK, I found the code - June 20, 2005
OK, I've found the code that must be causing the problem. Let me try and figure this out and I'll get back to you asap. Thank you verrry much for the feedback.

Tried again. - June 20, 2005
Went to the directory, found GoZing, clicked on user review. Wrote up my review, hit submit, took me to the edit page, hit submit again, and it said: Add Review Confirmation There was an error. That's it, the rest of the page is blank.

I just tried it both ways - June 20, 2005
It seemed to work fine both ways for me. It's weird that it would just say Error and nothing else, I thought I had it set up so that any errors would display something a little more specific than that. I was having a problem getting into my server account this morning, just for a short time. Maybe that had something to do with it. If you don't mind, try it again and see if it works (may want to write the review part in Word or something, just in case it doesn't work you won't have to type it agin). Let me know if it still doesn't work. I'm kinda baffled at this point.

GoZing Review - June 20, 2005
I went to the directory list. Found GoZing, clicked on add user review.

Which way did you go to get to the submit a review page - June 20, 2005
Did you go to one of the directories, look up GoZing, go to the info page and click add a review? or did you go right to the add a review page and choose GoZing through the drop down list?

I Tried - June 20, 2005
I tried posting a review for GoZing and at the page where you can edit or submit, I hit the submit and a page came up that said error. Nothing else, just error.

Did anyone notice the $50 give away??? - June 18, 2005
Thought I'd have more people submitting User Reviews for the Give away. So far only one posted review. I really am going to give someone $50 bucks and someone else $25. Anyways, hope you guys'll post some reviews, I think it'll add a lot of interest to the site.

Good call - June 17, 2005
Thanks for the feedback, didn't notice that one.

One more thing - June 17, 2005
On functionality, even though my review didn't show up under the "link" before you approved it, the "star rating" showed up on the listing. FYI, I don't know if you wanted that or not.

Replying to Chris - June 17, 2005
Thanks for the info on the hosting stuff, that doesn't sound too bad at all. I have been learning PHP/SQL myself, going to build a site to sell something (I hope). Trying to decide on a host, so that helped. On my review, next time I will add more comments, glad you liked my review - that I did it anyway - I rated the numbers thing - didn't know the comments were as important. Was mine the first? (hope I win the prize) I did the signup/signin thing, works ok.

This looks great! - June 17, 2005
This looks great. This site is the best for survey info. 8)

Impressive! - June 17, 2005
Chris, Love the new format and it looks great. Keep up the good work (as usual). :) Cammie

Approved the first user review. - June 17, 2005
fpsceo, I approved your user review this morning. You should be able to see it now. Just for future reference, I'd like the reviews to be a bit more elaborate. You don't need to write a novel or anything, but I also don't want a site full of one-liners that are of no use to anyone either. Thanks

I just went on the APLUS Website - June 17, 2005
I just went to the APLUS website and checked out their plans. The one I have is the "Solo XR" it's under the UNIX plans. They've got a big list of what it includes.

Built it myself - June 17, 2005
I built the entire thing myself. Went out and bought a PHP & MySql for Dummies book, and just went to town. I always wanted to switch it over to a database driven site, since I have the same link listed in several locations (different directories). So now all I have to do is change links in one place, verrry nice. As far as APLUS, the PHP is included in their hosting plans. It's there, and you can either use it or not use it. It doesn't cost anything extra. That's the one thing I like about APLUS, they give you lots of extra goodies with your hosting plan. I think it costs around $120 per year, and that includes domain name registration (or at least it did when I signed up). I'll put a referral banner on the homepage if you are thinking of using them, Id appreciate the referral. Also if you'd like to know any more about them, I'd be happy to oblige, I'll even send you some screenshots of the control panel if you'd like. Well, I hope everyone enjoys the new format. I was really hoping that the layout of the homepage would be nice for those of you who are return visitors. All the new stuff right there on the front. Has anyone tried logging in and out? It's pretty cool (at least I think it is). If you're logged out you'll see all of the "Welcome" info. But when you're logged in that all goes away so you can get to what you're looking for. It does that on several of the pages. Has anyone submitted a User Review yet? Hope you had a chance to read about the User Review drawing. Anyways, feel free to posts any comments, good or bad. I created a new forum category for comments specifically about the site itself. I'll also be adding my reviews and modifying the site descriptions, as fast as I can. I'll also be doing a new site search as well, so hopefully I can expand the survey directories. I appreciate the comments thus far. This has really become a nice little group.

One more question with the above one Chris - June 16, 2005
I saw your comment about the APLUS hosting place. Is that place expensive, how much do you pay/month for your PHP site here, since it is more complicated?

Good Job Who does? - June 16, 2005
Great web site. I see you are using PHP. Who does your site, some programmer or do you do it all yourself?

- June 16, 2005
Hello Chris: Good work ! I'm glad you posted under "Free Paid Surveys Discussions" the bad stuff as well as the good stuff about survey sites.

The new website is done!!! - June 16, 2005

Received my check! - June 28, 2005
Received my check on yesterday. It was about two weeks late. Previously, all checks arrived on time so maybe this is a temporary problem. Thanks to this post, I'll always redeem for cash and not the GC. Cammie

- June 23, 2005
I have received a 5.00 GC since my last post, but I still have not received the original 10.00 GC. I have never had a problem with them as far as requesting and receiving a check(Except for the time it takes). So my suggestion is to always request a check from lightspeed and nothing else.

lightspeed has been good to me - June 21, 2005
I've recieved a few checks from lightspeed, and they all arrived on time. I've never tried to redeem points for a GC though, but I prefer cash anyways.

- June 14, 2005
Thanks Chris, I try to call them and see what I can do. And thanks everyone else your input was helpfull.

- June 13, 2005
I have received several checks from Lightspeed. All were on time or early. I have never tried redeeming for a GC. David

Oh and by the way - June 13, 2005

Same thing happened to me - June 13, 2005
I've redeeemed rewards with Lightspeed on several occassions. I have never once had a problem when I redeem for cash. Check comes in the mail and I'm happy. But, last time I cashed out with them I did it for an Amazon GC. Now, an Amazon GC is electronic, so in reality (and from most places that let you cash in for an electronic GC) you should recieve it almost as soon as you order it. But it took them 2 1/2 months before I finally got it. Same thing, I emailed them left and right, and no response. That's one quam I have with Lightspeed, is that there customer service is terrible. The last email I sent them before I actually recieved the GC was quite lengthy and went into how I have enjoyed my Lightspeed membership up until now, and how I DID feel that they were a reputable company. I also sent a copy of all previous correspondance and the GC confirmation email. I recieved the GC the next day, so I don't know if someone acutally read it and decided to send it, or if it was just coincedence. Anyways, my advice, go for the cash next time. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

No problems so far... - June 11, 2005
Sorry to hear you're having problems. :( I redeemed a couple of months ago for cash and received that check. My last redemtion for cash was about 3.5 weeks ago. I just checked the confirmation email and it said the check should arrive within 4 weeks. I'll let you know if I receive it or not. I agree with your '"boycott". Hopefully, you'll hear something soon. :) Cammie

Lightspeed won't pay me :( - June 11, 2005
I requested a $10.00 gift certificate from lightspeed on 03/24/2005. I had the required amount of points. I have not received that gift certificate. I emailed them almost once a week about this. I have never received a reply from any email I sent them. I sent them emails from their web site and from my email client no reply either way. Anyone have the same problem with lightspeed? I'm not taking anymore surveys for them untill they pay me !!!

- September 25, 2005
I think the new policy of adding a service charge will shy alot of people away from doing surveys with them.

No Problems with Lightspeed - June 21, 2005
This is the first time I've ever heard any negative about Lightspeed. They've been great to me, and I've not had a stitch of trouble. I've redeemed probably about 4 time for cash. Good luck!

That's funny - June 13, 2005
Ciao is actually owned by Greenfield now.

- June 13, 2005
This health survey is on several sites. Ciao! is paying almost 4 times that amount for the same survey David

A huge directory listing market research companies - June 9, 2005
:) Hi! I've discovered this site that has up to date lists of market research companies. It is a little time consuming due to the number of categories, but you may find some "new to you" survey panels and focus groups. THE MARKETS DIRECTORY Heres the link: http://www.focusgroups.com (this is corrected link now) :!: !!!!! VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!! :!: > CLICK ON THIS FIRST!: (found towards the middle of the page),>> "If you would like to be in a focus group, read this..." Here I found some very useful tips on how to search this site and how to find a focus group that is currently recruiting paticipants and how to avoid being automatically excluded from any future contact. Many facilities have DO NOT CALL lists. People who call and ask to be put on groups are automatically excluded from any future contact.

- June 7, 2005
What I dislike about Global Test is that they will sometimes ask you many questions before telling you that you are unqualified. But I do like the fact that they usually give you at least a few points even if you dont qualify. Many times I have been unqualified after one or two questions and then given 3 - 5 points for trying. I have no problem whatsoever with "points" in general as long as you can know what those points are worth Global Test 1pt= 5cents Lightspeed and NFO 1 pt= 1 cent ViewPoint 1 pt= approx 25 cents David

Frustrated with surveys? - June 7, 2005
You know I was too. I still get those long surveys that ask inane questions and then you get to the end and it says that I have earned 100 points! Hint: Carefully read the email invite. Decide if the reward is worth it. I find that keeping track of my income helps. I have been keeping track since January and while the totals won't bowl you over My one month cable bill is higher than my earned income in the last six months. However I am definitely trending upward! Also I have a lot of sweepstakes entries floating around and who knows?? I go hopeful to the mailbox every day!

That's Great! - June 7, 2005
I have been a member for over 6 months now, and I have a whopping 362 points. Yippee! sorry, just a little frustrated with surveys. Anyway, Happy Birthday, and don't spend that in one place! :D

sneaky points - June 6, 2005
I normally don't like the survey sites that pay you in points. It seems to take forever to get to a payout point. I have to give big props to.. http://www.globaltestmarket.com/login.php I was waiting to get 1000 points to get $10. It did take five months. But when I got 1,046 points and cashed them in I found out this site pays 5 cents for each point! If I did the math right :D My 1046 points is worth over $50! Well my birthday is this month so happy birthday to me from Global Test Market! Points am good!

One of many that offer product testing! - June 21, 2005
This is one of many that offer product testing. But, yes, you have to do a survey and if you fit the criteria they're looking for you will be asked to try a product. I've found that a lot of the surveys that offer drawings tend to also do product testing. I just do what my time allows, otherwise I'd go crazy with working FT and having a family too! Demographics make a big difference in all surveys! Sorry!

- June 6, 2005
My sister has received several products to try from Viewpoint. But I havent. I thought maybe it was because she is a she and I am a he but I dont know :O)

- June 6, 2005
There is no actual "link" for testing products @ the site. Once in a while, a manufacturer will want a product tested. If you fit a specific demographic profile they are looking for, you will be asked specific questions during a survey (usually what they call a "screener") Within the survey, they will then ask you if you would like to "test" a product. If you elect to say yes, you get paid and also get to keep the product. At least this has been my expierence with the site. Hope this helps! Regards, Pink Panther76

A little confused - June 5, 2005
I have also been a member of this site for quite awhile and have never been asked to do product testing.

- June 1, 2005
Hello Keith, I have enrolled mysilf on mysurvey.com about 1 year back. I thought that site is just for taking surveys. Can you tell me how can I test products for them since I don't see any link on their site for product testing. Thanks, guptara

New Product Testers! - May 31, 2005
I was reading somewhere, Maybe here :D That is was hard to get into doing Product Testing. I have found a website that sends me all kinds of stuff to test! http://fun.mysurvey.com/join . I have gotten: Cat food and litter, Air freshner with a fan, DVDs, CDs, Computer programs, snack foods and more...I just qualified for a Deoderant test. They could smell me through the computer I guess. Check it out. They have both paid me for doing the tests and I get to keep the products.

Just a little matter.... - June 18, 2005
Don't count on Gary to help, Keith, he'd just as soon shoot the little Kerclinker than to do anything else with it!!! lol But I'm ready to roll!!!

Why not build your own website? - June 17, 2005
Do you get cash for referring people to Kerclick? If not, I know you can get paid through OffersQuest for it. Of course you need a website for that, but you could always make one. Send me an email letting me know exactly what it is that you would like to do, and maybe we could come up with a mutually beneficial arrangement.

KerClink Users Group - June 13, 2005
After your upgrade can we be the first in your User's group forum? Please :D

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet - June 13, 2005
Just trying to finish up the big upgrade of the site, haven't had much time for much else lately. I'm almost finished though, I anticipate releasing it next week. Don't really know anything about kerclink, but I'll look into it once I get everything up and running (and work out the bugs that I'm sure are bound to happen). Sounds like a fun site though, I'll definately look into it.

KerClink Users Group - June 13, 2005
Pam, Gary and I have decided to start a KerClink users group. I have E-Mailed Chris but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I want to hear from all you KerClinkers out there! Pam and I have gotten together a HUGE list of Phrases for the "Hangman" game. :P Also I found a neat program for those really hard words. So  join us! Everyone who joins gets our word list and a newsletter with hints and tips for the many games on KerClink! Oh and Don't tell KerClink! They probably wouldn't care but it is easier to apologize then to get permission.

Ker Clink or Kerclink - May 31, 2005
I have been using KerClink Mini-Browser for a year now. I've gotten two checks  ! They pay out at $10. It is by no means a Get-Rich-Quick scheme! It is annoying too  . But if you have nothing better to do while waiting for surveys. Go to www.kerclink.com and download it. It's FREE and has no spyware. There is a game in it where you must guess the phrase. I have been compiling a list... It is too long to post here so if you want it just let me know. I don't think I get anything for a referrel but if I do tell them kaman25 sent you!

Special Shout-out for Six Questions - May 20, 2005
I just wanted to show some appreciation for Six Questions. I have been dealing with them on a referral issue since they overhauled their site and the response I have gotten from them has been exemplary. I have had immediate responses to all of my concerns, they have made changes to their site to make things work and have just been the all-around nicest people I've dealt with for addressing my concerns, and I've really been bugging the crap out of them. So, I just wanted to share with you the great customer service I have recieved, I think that's at least half of what makes for a great site. For those of you who are not familiar with Six Questions, I would recommend checking them out. You can play the Six Questions trivia game or other games such as solitare and blackjack for points, of course you have to wager so there is the chance of losing points but you could also win big. They also give points for reading Six Questions mail (on their site) and for taking opinion polls to keep your points fueled. Their refer a friend is great and if your head is full of trivia, you can submit questions for the Six Questions game and recieve one point for every time your question is used, pretty cool. Anyways, here's the link if you're interested Six Questions

I've been doing surveys since the end of January. I've kept a spreadsheet, so these numbers are pretty accurate: Cash/Paypal total (this includes a few focus groups): $664.00 About $95 in Amazon.com Gift Certificates (Lightspeed, Keynote, others) About $35 in BestBuy Gift Cards (OpinionSquare) Avout $25 in restaurant gift cards Granted, I do a ton of surveys, although lately, it's tapered off. I can't access my email at work, plus I'm starting my own business on the side, so that keeps me busy.

Yea, that's too bad. - August 3, 2005
Unfortunatly, that's the case with most places outside the US. But, the UK still has quite a few sites, more than many other places anyways. If you find any sites that are reaaly great for UK residents, please post to the forum so that other UK residents can benefit from your experience. You could post a User Review as well. Good luck to you

Average earnings per month - August 3, 2005
Hi, I am just finding out about paid for surveys but have noticed from reading a lot about them that you have to be registered with several hundreds of them to earn anything like 100 dollars a month. As I live in the UK access to many of them is denied so the chances of earning are reduced.

- August 2, 2005
My experiences so far have been as follows: - I discovered this site back in January. -I've signed up with about 80 different survey sites. I had to wait several months with many of them before getting my first surveys. - In actual "cash" for surveys, I have received about $250 so far. - I also have gotten about: $60 in Amazon gift certificates (primarily Keynote); $50 in Paypal (Greenfieldonline, mainly); $15 in BestBuy gift cards (HarrisPoll) and cashed in on two CDs (promosquad). - I have been really luck, I think, with the drawings. A $100 Visa/Debit Card; $150 drawing (Survey Direct, I think, a "quasi" survey group, IMO); and $70 (SurveySpot). - I am fortunate to live near Detroit, where several onsite survey companies are located (Gongos, for example). That's netted me $225 (for three surveys), the most recent one this last week. What others are saying about missed surveys is very true - what i have done is used MS Outlook so I get my emails automatically (as oppossed to having to manually update my Yahoo! account with a browser. Sometimes, in my excitement, I have accidentally used Mozilla/Firefox (which is NOT supported by some survey links) and have lost $$$ oppurtunities that way - I suggest always using MS Explorer. I usually list my mobile as my primary contact number for any online forum or site survey discussions, as I always have this on me. This is an estimate, as I foolishly did not get a spread sheet together until around the 3rd month. That was a headache going back through my emails to see who I was a panelist with.

- August 2, 2005
Chris, how many sites would you estimate that you're registered with? I am just getting started with online surveys and am trying to get a feel for how many a person needs to register with in order to make about $100 a month. As of now I'm registered with 20. I started signing up at websites yesterday, and this morning I got my first survey from Pinecone Research for $5. This is shapeing up to be a nice little bit of cash on the side.

annual income - August 2, 2005
I am luck if I can make $30.00 a YEAR. Most of the survey sites only take people from the US. I am in some for the UK and Europe though. A lot of them use sweepstakes so you see no money unless you are lucky enough to win.

Average earning per month from Surveys - May 17, 2005
Hello Friends, Can you please tell me how much you are making on average per month by attending surveys? I am attending for past 15 months. My average earning is about $35-40. Is it high/Low or about average ?? Thanks -guptara http://guptatrigon.bravehost.com

- May 17, 2005
Hello Guptara, For me that is above average. Sometimes I have made significantly more during a month but it has usually ranged from 15-20 dollars. Since joining PineCone that number has raised and I expect to see an average of 25-35 or a little more. My average is probably a little lower than many because I am so busy and often I dont get to the surveys before they expire David

I have made quite a bit more - May 18, 2005
Last year I averaged over $100 per month. That's not just in cash though, that includes gift certificates, credits towards stuff, etc... Now, I say averaged because I had months where I made very little and I had months where I made quite a bit. I had, by the end of the year collected $100 worth of Amazon gift certificates, I participated in a project that paid $200 and another that paid $75. I won a $100 drawing and a $50 one, as well as, numerous $5 and $10 drawings. I made around $100 on It Pays to Learn (I actually brought in around $400, but I used a lot of it to reinvest in them on AADRS and such). Then I made around $150-200 on the "popular sites", the 10-20 sites which send the most surveys, and usually require you to login to cash out. And probably about the same, maybe a bit less, on all of the rest. I also had $10 in Circuit City gift cards and around $50 in restaurant gift cards. Now, I will say this. I was very active last year. I took every survey I could, almost as soon as I recieved it. I have not been able to be nearly as active this year, as I have been furiously trying to make over the entire site. These figures are also not going to be the same for everyone. It depends on where you live, who you are, etc... But I think a big part of it is getting into the surveys before they are closed. I recieved an email (I actually think it was a post to the old forum) from someone who had been doing this for several years, who had reported similar figures. It will depend on how long you have been doing this as well. It seems to take a while for all of those "other" sites (meaning the ones who don't send invites on a regular basis) to catch up. Also, be sure you are checking your accounts. You may have money sitting out there that you are not aware of. Hope this helps, and GOOD LUCK

I use to enter Contests all the time - June 22, 2005
I use to enter contests all the time, and actually won quite abit in the 90's, computer, trips, bike, etc. and I was always contacted by phone. Any money came Fedex or Airborne. There are a lot of scams out there as stipulated before, so be very careful. I had a friend that was told he'd won a $35,000 car, but had to send $400 for shipping & handling, he sent it and, you got it, the car never showed up. If you enter any contests keep the names so you can verify for future calls or "mailings" this is your best defense against scams.

- June 8, 2005
I remember 3months ago that I got a pink letter in the mail, it was shipped first class, then when i opened it, it said I won a million dollars. This is your second and final notice. I swear to god, it looked so real, it had everything on it a real letter would. I started jumping up and down then when I called the number to confirm the win, they said "Thank you for your entry into the sweepstakes, do you also want to subscribe to a magzine. I got so maddd, I threw the phone across the room. :(

Urgent - Is this one a scam??? - May 16, 2005
I received a e-mail today from a Kierssdiowql<[email protected] saying that I won $500,000 in thier drawing. It started by calling me Sir/Mame. They claimed to be the Sponsor of Bingo Lottery International and that I may want to put some of my winnings toward their next $6 million bingo. I don't recognize any of these names but it is possible that I could have been entered in something - I enter as many sweepstakes etc. as I can. Does anybody know about this? Should I respond? It states that I have until May 26 to answer or award goes elsewhere. Please help!!

- May 18, 2005
OK I think I may have solved the above problem. I believe that it is a scam. In applying to so many survey sites my address must have gotten into somebody's hands. Should anything like this happen to you there is a good site that has lots of info about fraud on the internet: http://www.hoax-slayer.com/ and you can forward anything questionable to them to check it out: [email protected] Apparently there are a lot of lottery type scams out there so beware!!

Yeah, I think I've recieved several of those. - May 18, 2005
Really, unless you are aware of a "Lotto" that you are actively participating in, then there's no way. There are legitimate lotto sites out there, but they require that you choose numbers and submit them and you would definately know that you were. You were right to check this out. You can usually tell from the email if it's a scam or not. But if you can't you can always do some searching around and find out.

- June 9, 2005
I am amazed when I get something like that in the mail and it sent bulk mail or presorted forst class etc. You can be sure that if you actually won a million dollars the mnoticce would come by certified mail if it was mailed but most likely you would be contacted in person. David

PSB Rewards - May 20, 2005
I agree, you have to read their invititations carefully to see what incentive they are offering. The two in particular I did for them, they said... To thank you for your time, we will give you $2.00 for completing this survey. And the second one said.... $3.00 incentive. It states all incentives are administered by PayPal, but I took these surveys early March. I guess I'm pushing it a little bit, it's only been a couple of months, but what I am concerned about is not being able to log into their site. Thank you all for the comments!!! :P

Looks like they might be improving - May 20, 2005
Yes, most of the PSB Survey invites I've recieved in the past, the sent directly from them, do not mention a reward. Be sure to read your invitations. However, if they are restructuring, like it looks they are, it looks as if they might be adding a rewards section to their site. Looks like they plan to offer Amazon gift certificates and/or PayPal payments as a reward type. Here's their new home page http://www.psbsurveys.com/, which looks pretty good so far. Of course, I'm still not able to login, but they are a Market Research firm. I assume that some other company is handling the building of their new website, so I'll give them a while to switch. I'll remain optimistic... for a while. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.

- May 19, 2005
I joined that survey site last year and several times I have clicked on my bookmark and gotten "page not found" Once I thought maybe they were having temporary problems and so I checked back quite often for awhile but it was always the same. I have emailed them several times (The last time was probably 6 months ago) but never got a response. Every now and then I will be doing a survey for some site and I will see their name and logo on the survey. I did a Global Test Market Survey (Fairly sure it was GTM) just a few days ago where I was actually forwarded to a PSB page. David

- May 19, 2005
They paid me once, and it took over six months to get that payment. It was only 10 bucks.

I also recieved an invite - May 19, 2005
I was able to complete the survey a well. I just sent an email to every email address they have listed. So, hopefully I'll be able to let you know soon.

PSB - May 18, 2005
I just received a survey invite from them yesterday, didn't make it past the screener though.

Penn, Schoen, and Berland Assoc. - May 16, 2005
Does anyone have any insights? I have been a member of psb for quite some time. I went to their site (through my favorites) and it said page cannot be found. There was a link for psb, so I clicked on it. It was a totally new page than the one I always used to log in. I tried to log in and it said username, email address, etc... was invalid. I sent them several emails explaining my dilemma and they were all returned undeliverable. I stumbled onto another psb site, so I emailed them, just to see if I could get somewhere, but they haven't responded. I am a little frustrated, as these people owe me money for taking surveys and I would like to collect it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Pam :?

Experienced the same thing - May 17, 2005
I also have emailed them with no response. I didn't get an undeliverable notification, but I didn't get a reply either. Not sure what's going on. It looks to me as they're reorganizing their site, but I can't be sure. I'll be keeping on top of it for the next few weeks and will let you know if I find anything out.

Easy way 2 get paid ! - May 8, 2005
O. K. people, I, your good friend Benny, after doing much research, have discovered a way to make money so easy that any nim kum poop can do it. Its called Autosufing, similar to watching commercials on T.V. except you get paid for doing it. To get the free 10 bucks they give you for signing up, click on the banner in my signature. This company has been doing this for more than two years. I believe they are stable and will be around for a long time. If you want more info "PM" me or reply to this post. P.S. This is especially good for those who do "PTR" since you spend so much time in front of the computer anyway.

You're welcome! - May 8, 2005
You're welcome! I know alot a people have wanted to get in, and they are definitely a great company to work with. So good luck to your sister! :)

Did you know that NFO My Survey was a BBB member? - May 4, 2005
In 1946, NFO (National Family Opinion) established its first consumer panel to help businesses and industries develop products that people want and need. At that time, the postal service and telephone were the main avenues to reach our panelists. NFO My Survey has been a proud member of the Better Business Bureau since 1972. Since 1995, with the growing number of online individuals and households, we have asked consumers for their opinions via the Internet and email. In 2003 NFO joined forces with another major market research company called TNS. The combined new company called TNS NFO is now the second largest research firm in the world. Innovations inspired by consumer opinion research include air bags, antilock brakes, cash reward credit cards, and child-proof safety caps, to name a few. Another example of consumer research is the Conference Board Consumer Confidence Survey, conducted by NFO MySurvey every month for more than 35 years. These results are routinely reported in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and New York Times and are regarded as a leading economic indicator.

Greetings from Connecticut!!! - April 24, 2005
Hi Everyone! I'm Naomi and I'm a 35 yr old mother of two boys. Our oldest will be 11 in June, is in 5th grade and will be going on to middle school come Sept. Our youngest is going on 7 1/2 and is in 1st grade. I was a full-time SAHM but, now that our youngest is in school full-time, I recently went back to work. I work p/t as a cafeteria aide in my kids school. Certainly not going to get rich doing that, that's where the surveys, etc come in LOL. I've been doing surveys, online focus groups, etc for several years. It's a great way to bring in a few extra $$$. I look forward to being part of this community and getting to know you......

Hello - April 20, 2005
Hello, everyone! My name is Tracy. I'm a 29-year-old single mom of two beautiful little girls (Bailey's 3 and Savannah's 21 months). I am unable to work, so I'm always trying to find way to bring in some sort of extra income. I have been doing MyPoints for several years now and have traded in points there for gas cards (VERY valuable these days) and airline miles. I'm hoping to find other ways to make money from everyone here, and I'll be sure to pass on any good programs I find, too![/color:152a23015f]

Hi all, from Minnesota! - April 19, 2005
I also enjoy this site, there's a few new survey companies that I've found here. I also have been doing surveys for quite awhile (over 4 years) and enjoy the extra money. I also do focus groups and taste tests too! This brings in the money alot faster and more of it. I also just started beta testing. So far, I've gotten a digital camera ($200-300 retail) and a 3 in 1 printer ($150-250 retail) all for free! I haven't paid for anything! I also have info on what other focus groups there are around the U.S. Let me know if you're interested in finding out about your state. You can either post here or email me (faster response) at [email protected] with focus group info in the subject line. All info is FREE!! I enjoy helping others make extra money too!

email processing - April 17, 2005
Hello Friends, Not sure where to post this question. I am sorry Chris if you feel that this message should have been posted under some other forum. Does any one knows what is email processing job? I read on internet that its a good home business and for processing a single email, companies pay 20-25$. Is it true? Also, the time taken to process 1 email is about 15 min. Can anyone please explain about this job? Thanks & Regards, -guptara

[quote:09b20bc80a="BennyBaines"]I sent them an email asking if there was any catch to it, like on June 1st when they officially open will I be able to instantly withdraw that 25.00 without having to upgrade or reach a certain payout point. They have not replied. So, I will not sign up untill they tell me there is no catch to this thing!!!!!![/quote:09b20bc80a] i'm skeptical about that too

- April 30, 2005
The only catch to the $25 is that you cant cash it out. You can only use it to send payment to another GreenZap member. I have joined myself (but I wont post my sign up link out of respect to Guptara). I would recommend anyone joining right now. They are a new company but they may make it. Also the pre registration is very quick and they dont ask for any sensitive information. If GreenZap doesnt make it the most you will lose is the minute it takes to join. But if they do make it and prove to be a viable company you will be glad. Basically its a good gamble in my opinion. I have heard and read some negative information about them but I have also seen quite a bit of positive stuff too. David

I was really hoping to find more cell phone stuff but everything I see is over in Europe. After WWII it's hard to trust... When you ask a historiean about the Civil War's effect on today's society the will answer "The jury is still out on that."

Thanks for this one - May 31, 2005
I vaguely remember running across these guys a while back, forgot all about them. I'll be sure to add it to the next update.

Heylo From PA - April 16, 2005
Hey everyone! My name's Joanne and I'm from PA. I'm a 23-year-old married mommy of, [b:b734e84a0a]soon to be[/b:b734e84a0a], three. I have a 7 y/o daughter, a 3 y/o son, and am currently 4 months pregnant with my [b:b734e84a0a]LAST[/b:b734e84a0a] child. LOL. Over the past 3 years, I've found happiness, and [u:b734e84a0a]of course[/u:b734e84a0a] checks galore, by participating in online survey panels. I can honestly say that I truly enjoy offering my opinions from home as compared to working in an industry. It's fun and exciting, with so many benefits! Joanne

I think they're mostly European - October 20, 2005
UK mostly, I think, although I do receive a stray survey from them every once in a great while

- October 19, 2005
I'm from Spain and I have received 2 web tests from opinionbar (with Ciao how intermediary) since 9 months ago. They send few web tests and are paid with 3.50 / test. Are you received any test yet?

Opinion Bar - April 15, 2005
I recently signed up to participate in surveys from a panel called www.opinionbar.com. They claim to have eligibility to participate in the US, though it's been awhile and I have [u:b1cd0e8e36]yet[/u:b1cd0e8e36] to receive any survey invitations and their links to current questionaires on their site is always saying 'not available'. I don't think they really intend on people in the US joining, though they claim they do, and so far this survey group has been a waste of time. Joanne

Looks Good - April 15, 2005
Can't say as to how good they'll be, but it definately appears that they are a legit site that will uphold to all appropriate privacy standards. I would say give them a try, I will almost definately add them to my site in my next update.

Opinion Outpost - April 15, 2005
I just checked out the page for http://www.opinionoutpost.com curious because of the post you added. To me, it looks like it definitely could be worth signing up for and seeing how the site operates and how frequently they send out survey invitations over a period of a few months. Reading the FAQ, the info they provided was worthy and legitimate. Joanne

I have the same problem as you, and some grocery stores will cash them for you. Just tell them it's a "payroll" check, because the cashier is usually too confused on how to code it. After all, you *did* work for your money. Places that have worked for me in the past are WalMart and Food Lion. Currently, I use Harris Teeter, who charges $2 to cash each check. Each company has their own set of rules for cashing the checks, so don't get your hopes up when you go in there. I always ask them to run it through their system first, before I endorse it or before they write my info all over the front of it. Just keep an open mind, and good luck! Also, you could always endorse the check and give it to a friend or family member to deposit into their account. They can give you the money when the check clears.

In regards to recieving small checks.. - July 17, 2005
Hey, Here's a good idea. Get a checking account! Then you can recieve your survey checks and cash em' out.

PayPAl debit cards - July 16, 2005
I'm not positive but I think that payPal has a debit card that you can use to access your paypal acct. I don't know if theres a fee or a min. ballance but its worth looking into.

PayPal doesn't actually require a checking account - April 20, 2005
You don't have to have a checking account with PayPal. Only if you want to withdrawl funds. I mostly use my PayPal for buying stuff online, in this case you don't need to have a checking account.

checks - April 20, 2005
we cash most of the small checks we get at our home supermarket if you go to one particular store and get to know them well they will cash them for you

You don't have alot of choices - April 19, 2005
All the ways to recieve incentives are either points or a checking account is needed. Paypal even requires a checking account. I can only think of one company (online focus group) that sent cash, otherwise always a check. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!

- April 9, 2005
Where do you live if they don't take out of state checks?

Survey Checks - April 8, 2005
I have found that receiving small checks for surveys is very frustrating. I don't have a bank account, and a lot of check cashing places don't take out of state checks. The ones that do take most of the check. Does anyone know of any alternatives or ways to get the money? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

- May 4, 2005
Most surveys will allow you to build up your account and will send a check only after you request it. For example you could let your NFO account get up to $30 or so before requesting payout. You would wait a little longer between checks but maybe they would be more worth the check cashing fees. GoZing pays by paypal. Im not sure if any of the other ones do or not. David
