As far as the drawings, I definately sign up for those sites with drawings. There are several site in which I win drawings regularly, and then there are others which I have never won. The thing is unlike most drawings, or a lottery or something, your odds are usually much better. There are usually a smaller amount of people in the drawing and some offer quite a few prizes. Also, with a drawing there is the potential for winning a somewhat substantial amount of cash. I just recently won a DVD surround sound system through Morvo (Your Say), they've got a picture of me posted on their homepage http://www.yoursay.com/home.aspx, of course I had extra entries because of my referrals, but I still had to win the drawing. The one exception, I think, would be Greenfield. They are becoming notoriously bad at sending tons of surveys with drawings and I don't think I've ever won one. Also, you can join the drawing sites, and when you receive the email it should tell you that it's a drawing. You can then decide if you want to take it, or at least take the any other cash surveys first and come back to them.
As far as the gift cards, that depends on in what context it is. There are 3 sites I can think of off hand where this sort of thing is valid. Six Questions, My Points and Memolink - you don't HAVE to accept offers to get enough points through any of these to get stuff, you can read email, take surveys, visit websites etc... to earn points, you'll just get them faster if you do the offers. The offers themselves are ok, and you my find things that you were going to buy anyways that you can get points on. Just be vary wary of what it is you are signing up for, read through the terms and conditions, make note of any cancellation dates, etc... _________________ Chris Ohlson
