I would be cautious regarding this link to a survey clearinghouse. On the first page, it appears that 4 of the 5 sites listed have information that is already available here - Lightspeed, Opinion Square, Survey Savvy, ECN Research. The fifth, Memomail, is more of a point click thru program. The second page is more of the same, but note the following.

The link to joinsurveys.com won't load.
Survey Networks (IMO) is a click thru/affiliate spam generating assoicated site.
Permission Research wishes the prospective survey applicant to download tracking software on to one's computer.
Search Cactus is a click thru/sign up site which appears to be along the lines of InBoxDollars.

The long and short of this, is I would proceed with caution before signing up with this site, and double check with the surveys reviews listed here.

Finally, to the poster, HelpHandz on transparency - it is not mentioned in your original posting that your friend appears to garnering referrals for people signing up with myfreesurveys. I have removed the referral name in the line, "criddick06".

I really don't think there is a need for other survey site listings. This site is the best. There really is none better. I beleive that Chris has done the best job of anyone and I wish this site was here when I first started doing surveys. It would have helped a lot.

I'll have to apologize for the updating. I've been working out of town, living out of a motel for the past 6 months. I've also been putting in around 14-16 hours a day, so I've unfortunately not had much time to keep things up to date.

My biggest problem to date has been keeping the junk out of this forum. I've only got this problem kindof solved for the moment. But plan on revamping to solve it completely (well, as completely as possible).

Anyways, I should be done with my out of town work in a month or so, so... hopefully you can bear with until then.

IMHO this is still the best site. I have been doing surveys for at least over 5 years now. The best enformatin is here. It does not matter to me how much it is updated because my experience is that with the newer sites, they just do not pay. Itg also seems that not as many sites are as good as they used to be. I have looked at other survey sites and they still don't compare to the information that is here.
