JDPowerPanel changes reward program

For those who haven't signed up JDPowers and like collecting Amazon Gift Certificates, they are changing their award system in the near future and making cash out easier in the process. Below is a copy of an email I received from them today (no more folios!):

Dear Panelist,

We are excited to announce that we are updating our rewards program. Starting this September, you will be able to redeem your JDPowerPoints for Amazon.com® Gift Certificates*! The current Folios (rewards catalog) will be expiring on September 9th, 2005.

If you want to redeem your JDPowerPoints from the current Folios, you must do so on or before September 9th, 2005. Please be assured that if you do not redeem your JDPowerPoints on or before September 9th, 2005, your JDPowerPoints balance will remain the same.

The redemption level will be lowered to 500 points. Starting September, for every 500 JDPowerPoints you accumulate, you will be able to redeem them for a $5.00 Amazon.com Gift Certificate.

This will making cashing out with them easier (at least for me). I like this better than the folios as several other sites also offer Amazon GC as rewards.
