Did you know that NFO My Survey was a BBB member?

In 1946, NFO (National Family Opinion) established its first consumer panel to help businesses and industries develop products that people want and need. At that time, the postal service and telephone were the main avenues to reach our panelists. NFO My Survey has been a proud member of the Better Business Bureau since 1972. Since 1995, with the growing number of online individuals and households, we have asked consumers for their opinions via the Internet and email. In 2003 NFO joined forces with another major market research company called TNS. The combined new company called TNS NFO is now the second largest research firm in the world.

Innovations inspired by consumer opinion research include air bags, antilock brakes, cash reward credit cards, and child-proof safety caps, to name a few. Another example of consumer research is the Conference Board Consumer Confidence Survey, conducted by NFO MySurvey every month for more than 35 years. These results are routinely reported in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and New York Times and are regarded as a leading economic indicator.
