paid to search

Does anyone belong to a paid to search site? I'm wondering how it works and if they are worth the time and effort. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't belong to one. But I am interested. I saw one once that
was a "auto surf" meaning you download a small program that
receives web pages automatically, and you just look at them I guess.
If anyone knows more feel free to post.
