$50 Builders Survey

Are you a homebuilder, or do you know any, who would like to earn $50 by filling out a quick, easy written survey about a product in the building industry?



We are a national consumer research firm hired by a client to do a study using a large sampling of homebuilders across the U.S. on the topic of Home Wrap. We are NOT selling anything.



We have already finished the first phase of our study by interviewing 141 building professionals in 26 states about home wrap, #15 felt, reasons for using, what product qualities they like, why it matters to the builders, etc., and they all got their money from us.



Now, we are in Phase Two: quick written surveys. Would you be interested in taking 15-20 minutes (in the next week or two) to complete written surveys about various specific home wrap products you use or have used? We pay $50 per panelist. You would fill out one brief survey for each of up to 3 different brands you use now or that you have used and have knowledge of. There are no “fill in the blanks with your comments” questions; it’s just a circle a number, multiple choice type tool that wouldn’t take very long. We would value your input.



We are trying to “recruit” about 300 builders who use or have used some different home wrap brands (or #15 felt instead) who would be willing to participate: at least 100 surveys about each of several different brands.



The survey is quick and easy, and we hope it will be helpful for the building industry.

2. Address

3. Phone

4. Business name

5. Brands of home wrap you use or have used (so I can send you the correct survey forms). Please tell me all of the brands you have used and can comment on.



If we still need panelists in your particular product(s)-used category when you respond, then I will mail out to you a survey for up to 3 of the brands you use for you to fill out in a week or so after you receive it, along with a stamped return envelope. After you send it back (if postmarked no later than March 5), we will turn around and send you your thank you check of $50. Easiest money you’ve ever made, I bet!



And, if you do respond, do you happen to know any other builders who might be interested in participating? We’d love to send them an email like this. I don’t know how difficult it will be to recruit busy builders for this survey, but I would think you and your builder friends might find it interesting, and it is likely to benefit the building industry by having better and easier-to-use products.
