Question anybody

Postby theluckster » Fri Jan 28, 2005 7:19 pm

I have never yet done a survey I just joined a company up in canada.
Only site seem legit as I been told others as SurveyScout that are rip off's half there data not even updated. This is what I been told lots of people who joined these so called top 6 surveys that you pay & makes them look good by, Survey Reviews

Some questions are this

#1. Does anybody do this FULL TIME? :?:

#2.What your average montly income? :?:

#3.Let say you signed up 300+ surveys how long did it take you to finally get a surveys? :?:

What I been told by others who done this for awhile said if you sign up nor how many you sign up it usual takes 2 weeks or just depends if you fit the survey to finally get one.
True or False? :?:

I had allot say there average income is 2k to 3k
True or False? :?:

Anybody get beyond 3K? :?:

Now I wonder whats the trick to make sure you get on the survey
any suggestions? :?:

Thanks :)

First, I'm not sure if you are aware but this forum is for which will offer you the same information as Survey Scout, or the others that charge, for FREE. And I do, try at least, to keep my lists updated and without duplication. The people who advertise those sites get a portion of the payment that you would pay, so they will tell you that they are the top 6. My advice, NEVER pay for survey info because you can get it all for free.

Now for your questions:

1. By full-time, do you mean 8 hrs a day, every day. If so, then no one does, you'll not receive that many surveys. If you mean do I answer as many surveys possible, then I for the most part have, however I do run short of time and miss some openings because I am maintaining this site.

2. I would say on average $150-200 per month, not including referrals, and if I had a bit more time I could probably add a little more to that, but not much.

3. Shouldn't be long at all to get at least a few. After a month or so you should be getting them everyday. I recive at least 1-2 per day, and usually more.

True/False section.
1. True
2. 2-3K per year, possible. 2-3K per month impossible.
3. 3K per year, maybe possible without referrals, possible with referrals.
4. No trick really. Make sure you fill out profiles for those sites that have them, and then just be honest. You never know what they are looking for.

Hope this helps.

1 I would consider full time as I do lot of mystery shop, focus group and surveys each week.

2. I choose not to reveal my income as most people would consider unrealistic. However I can tell you that surveys is not a steady income. If you want to get pay more, you need to consider joining mystery shop and focus group. Just this week along, companies offered/ reserve over 20 locations for me to shop which including gas station, fast food, sport goods, music store and pizza. ( It's better for me to not mention the shops names ). And the focus groups for this week are rum tasting and wirless connection. (yes I get pay to drink) In any case mystery shop is a steady income since you recieve a small fee and free items which you can sell in ebay. And best of all, if you have a good history in that company, it will plan and reserve every possible assignments for you months ahead.

3. As I stated in another post, do not join the site blindly. It will be a waste of time if you join a company who is specialize in IT while you enter a bus driver in your profile. As for the numbers of companies go, joining every company out there without fully-filled detailed profile will lead you nowhere. As some people experenced, they get the survey few days or week later than others. What people don't realized is that the companies reserved/send out the surveys to people who are closely match with profile first. If not enough people apply within the time limit, the company will then send the survey out to the general public and sometime hire another survey company to finsih the job. In other words, by the time it reachs you, you have to race with thousands of lazy survey hunters in order to fill in a few slots that was left over.

BTW most of the left-over surveys are open to anyone and not send to unique user. And 25%of the time, it came from the company which was hired from the original survey site to finish the jobs in which would result in delay of payment and sometime lesser pay.
