Basic info on registering

Hello. Hopefully you are planning on registering for the forum, or already have. Let me start by saying that we are happy to have you here and look forward to your participation.

Here is how the registration process works. When you register to join the forum, I will receive an email notifying me that you have registered. I will then review the information you have entered in your profile and will probably send you a follow-up email asking a few questions as to why you want to join. Assuming that you want to join the forum because you are interested in paid surveys, I will approve your registration and you'll be good to go.

We used to forgo this approval process, but due to a few bad eggs posting a significant quantity of junk posts, I've decided to try and monitor who is joining. Please allow several days for your registration to be approved. Although I hate the fact that I must delay new members from being able to post, I think you will find that by keeping out the spammers will greatly increase your enjoyment of the forum.
