OTX now has (discontinued) $20 GC Payout

I logged into OTX for the first time in several weeks, and notice they now have a $20 payout. It's just for Amazon GCs, but as this is what I always cash out for, I don't mind. Also, the cashout is at 15000 points for the $20 GC - making it even more worthwhile to let the points build up.

Consider that most OTX surveys are for 2000 points. Therefore if you cash out at:

5000 Points = $5 GC = about $1 per 1000 points = $2/survey
8000 Points = $10 GC = or $1.25 per 1000 points = $2.50/survey
15000 Points = $20 GC = or $1.33 per 1000 points = $2.66/survey

I noticed that yesterday too. Which is great as I am 100 points from 15,000! So I decided to wait.

Does anyone know if they plan to bring back the other merchandisers as well (Amazon, etc) or is it just the reward choice now?

I emailed OTX, and got this response:

Hello, Thank you for your message, for the time being we are only
offering the $10.00 option. The Reward choice certificates have over
300 options to choose from.

So, there's the answer. Donations for the forseeable future at the $5 level, and the general Reward Choice GC for $10. Incidentally, I did a cashout for the $10 yesterday, and it was pretty straightforward. Previously, one would cashout award and the GC code would be in one's email account shortly thereafter. With Reward Choice, you get the initial confirmation email, log onto the Reward Choice link provided, and get a second email with the chosen company's GC within a couple of hours.

I opted for an actual gift card instead of an online gift cert and I got it within 2 days in the mail. I was highly impressed. I thought for sure that it would take at least 6 weeks.

I just cashed-out for a $10 amazon gc sent by way of an e-mail a couple days ago..So amazon is still available thru this new incentive reward option...

Seems OTX has now reduced the amount of points per survey...It is now down from 2,000 points to 1,000 points per survey...I am about ready to throw in the towel with OTX...
