Couple of pointers.

If someone is going to give you something that sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Most surveys will range anywhere from $1-$25, unless you win a drawing or something. But, you will sometimes get a survey project, more like a focus group that usually require you to do something over several days that will pay you quite a bit more. The most I ever got from one of these was $200, but that's rare.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of sites out there that say "take a short survey and get "X" or get a chance at a Corvette or something ridiculous" when actually they are just after your email address and whatever other info they can get. So be sure to read through privacy polocies and term and conditions. Same in the paid email world, I've seen ptr site that make it seem as if you can get $1,000 payout but if you readthe small print you have to have "x" amount of referrals or else you only get 1/10th of 1% of that or something silly.

I've tried not to included any such sites on Free Paid Surveys, and have removed sites for just that.

Also, I noticed you posted another message regarding how much you can make with paid surveys vs. paid email. I would think, that if one were really dedicated they could probably make more with paid email, but you need to spend a lot of time reading paid email (if you haven't checked out my paid email system, you might want to, it's got some good info as to how to cut down on that time), where surveys take relatively little time in comparison. I made right around $2,000 last year (2004) taking surveys, but I did get a few good projects, one paying $200.

You mentioned you had a lot of time available to spend on your computer. You might want to look into creating your own website. Both surveys and paid email can make you some money with referrals, and whereas setting up a website can take a bit of time initially, once you're setup you cna just maintain and advertise it. I've got some tools on the site for setting up your own website as well, if you don't know how.

Anyways, welcome to the forum. I look forward to more posts.
Good Luck
