Give LiveWire a Try

Postby SurveyLanie » Sun Oct 02, 2005 4:41 pm

I just got into Surveys around 9/1/05 to try and make a few dollars. After a month I was becoming pretty disenchanted. The only earnings so far have been $5 in free stamps from Stamps.com and a free 2 week trial of Netflix. Woo Hoo! I'm a 55 year old woman living alone so I don't make it past a lot of the screeners. Then I opened the mail this morning and low and behold the was a check from LiveWire for $15! I qualified for and took a Nivea Cosmetics survey on 9/9/05. FYI, here's the email invitation -

Thank you for answering our pre-screening survey for women 18-55.
Congratulations...you qualify for the paid survey!

You will find the survey at:

http://www.inquisiteasp.com/surveys/******

The site will be accessible until the desired number of respondents submit their responses. If you successfully submit your responses, we will pay you $15.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Denise

Maybe there is hope. Definitely give this site a chance.

If everyone in this particular thread doesn't mind me asking...You all had no problem with giving up your SS# to Livewire???? They currently owe me $10 but I refuse to give them such priviliged info. They do not need such info. unless you have made $600 per year (at the federal level) at their site which I doubt anyone here has done over the course of a year. They sent me an email and said I was considered an independant contractor...OK if this is the case then why is it all of the other 50 or so survey sites I am a member of do not require such info. Does anyone here at this forum report their survey earnings to the IRS????

Just because I know personally of the company they are affiliated with (DDB Communications) I felt comfortable with it. But no, I normally would NOT go blindly giving out my SS#. I gave them mine, however, and have been paid several times by them.

Another point which impresses me about Livewire is there customer support/response. Last week (Saturday) I received an email from Denise [the handle for person(s) who sends out the Livewire surveys] stating they had gotten a check back, and wanted to make sure they had my mailing address correct (they had left out a digit). A response to my reply was in my email box within 2 hours, and on a Saturday at that. I received the payment on Thursday. Not too shabby.

I have signed up with them but I never get any surveys. I have been with them for about 3 years.

I have had two in the past two months. So not as frequently as other sites, but then tend to be better paying.
