Hi, I'm Alison and just started getting into online surveys. I got the links to a few several months ago and then the bug hit bigtime last week and I've been searching the web like crazy for sites and I'm glad to have found this one to help me sort out the good ones form the bad.
I am married with one son, and was an elementary school teacher before he was born.

Welcome to the forum. Since you're new to online surveys, I hope you've found the Survey Directories (some people find the forum and don't know about the rest of the site for a while). Since you're just starting out I would recommend starting with the "Starter List" which contains most of the major players. Then move on tho the "USA Directory" for lots more. I pre-screen all of the sites in the directory, so can feel confident in signing up with any on my lists.

Also, I would recommend reading through the Survey Information page, which will give you some idea as to what to expect.
