Hi all,

I have been recommended by a friend to try paid survey's.

Its the first time i've got into paid survey's and haven't got a clue where to start!!!

That's why I decided to join this forum for some help and advice.

I live in sunny UK. LOL

Hello and welcome to the group. Glad to have you aboard.

My name is Chris and I run this site. Since you're just starting out, I'm really glad you found us. This forum is a fantastic resource for paid online survey takers. We have a great bunch of members.

Since you're new to this, let me give you a brief tour of the site and give you my advice as to where you should begin.

Just in case you found this forum before you found the main page for the site, here is the homepage for Free Paid Surveys. The homepage contains some basic info as to where you should begin and contains links to all the features of this site.

Before you jump into this, read through the Info and Tips page. This'll give you some good information as to what you should expect (and not expect) as well as some really good tips to help you get going. You may also want to read through the Getting Organized section.

Once you've got some background info, you'll then want to start signing up for survey sites. Free Paid Surveys has a large database of survey sites you can sign up for. They listed in several different directories to make it much easier for our users to keep a handle on things. Here is the page that lists all of the different directories: /directories.php. I would recommend starting with the Starter Directory. These are the major players and represent the various types of survey sites. Be sure to pay attention to the "region" for these sites. You'll only want the ones tagged "UK" (specifically for the UK) and "INT" (International - any country can join). Being that you are from the UK, you'll next want the UK Directory This will list ALL of the sites that residents of the UK are eleigible for (includes the UK and INT sites). No need to visit any other of the directories.

Just a side note about the directories here. The Free Paid Surveys directories are quite unique in that you can sort them in a number of different ways. You'll notice at the top some different sorting options you can choose from. This can be quite helpful because we are also unique in that we provide reviews and rankings. I have added my own reviews and rankings (although I am a bit behind and need to add many more) and other members of this forum have ranked many of the sites listed. Hopefully, once you get the swing of things, you'll return and add your own reviews, to help others, such as yourself, to make informed decisions. You can see the full reviews and additional info by clicking on the "Full details and reviews", "More info" or the "Ratings" link for any survey site listed.

Once you're up and running, be sure to come back and check the What's New at FPS page. This is where I list any new additions to the site, including any new survey sites added to the directories. Also, visit this forum often. Ask questions, provide feedback or whatever.
