Get Paid To Watch Seminars

Postby allan196622 » Wed Jan 31, 2007 10:53 am

Earn a leveraged income from watching seminars. The program is completely free to join and you watch a couple of seminars a week. Check out the website.

allan196622,

Your link appears to be dead. Could you provide some additional information regarding this program? Aspects like: number of seminars required, nature of said seminars, compensation received, consistency/timeliness of compensation, et cetera.

Additionally, the link ends with what appears to be a referral number ("7852"). I consider it good form to let folks know that a link they click on makes them a referral of yours. I'll be removing the posting if there is no updated link within 3 days (3/17/2007).

Thanks!

The site went down for a while but it's back up now.
You watch about 60 seminars a week and you get paid .0001c for each seminar.

Thanks for the update, allan.

In looking at the website, it appears to be using a direct marketing/affiliate program model. In essence, similar to the "it pays to read" ad/email sites that exist, where one could watch the seminars, and get a small payout, but would need many a referrals affiliated to you to make this profitable. I believe that's what the term "leveraged income' means - money through affiliate marketing.

In doing a WhoIs Search (looks at the underlying information of a domain name, here's a link: http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIsCheck.aspx?prog_idgodaddy), the site has been registered since 12-Oct-05, with an expiration in October 2007. This is not unusual in itself, everyone running a website has to renew their domain name. However, if I signed up for such a program, I would be concerned whether or not the registrant/owner of the bestcashrewards would be renewing - something to watch for in the coming months if you've built up a number of referrees after joining.

While neither endorsing nor disparaging this particular site, I do have the following opinions:
1) It Pays to Read (or in this case, Watch) programs take a long time to build up referees to make it worthwhile;
2) They run the risk of folding, or radically changing if there is a new owner/administrator (like what happened with It Pays To Learn, which was a known good site for a number of years);
3) Sucsessful cashouts may take awhile to materialize. If this site has 60 seminars a week (what's the length on each seminar?) and one gets paid .0001c per seminar = 60 x .0001c = .06c/week. I believe cashout is at $50, for this site.
4) I always research via work from home, get paid to read, and survey forum sites to see if there are scam complaints with a site.
