Some cool stuff I recently aquired

Postby FreePaidSurveys » Mon Nov 28, 2005 3:26 pm

Just wanted to share some comments on some cool stuff I just aquired.

First I purchased a mutifunction machince, you know, copy, scan and print. After spending many hours researching and visiting many stores (none of which could provide me with a sample photo from any machines) I finally bought a Canon Pixma MP500 through Amazon. All I can say is awesome. I bought it primarily for copying and printing photos. Of course, I've only used it a few times, so I can't speak as to how much ink it's using, but the photos are absolutely beautiful. My first trial was to just copy a photo. Simply put my photo on the copier, set it up to fit my paper and hit copy. Can't tell the difference from a regular processed photo. Plus it's got memory card slots and a nice lcd panel. Very nice machine, would highly recommend to anyone. Here's a link Canon Pixma MP500

Second, I found the coolest wireless mouse and keyboard set. It uses RF signal instead of infrared. So, it's got a 30ft range. I had an older infrared set that got maybe 2ft. The coolest part is you can use the mouse in the air. There's a little finger button underneath that you can press and when you move your wrist back and forth the cursor moves. The only problem I have with it is that the keyboard doesn't have a number pad, but this also makes the keyboard very small. I believe the same people do make a larger keyboard with a number pad. Here's a link to their website: Gyration. I think the set I got is actually a little older, but it's comparable to the Go 2.4 set. I was able to find this on Computer Geeks.com for an awesome price, but it looks like I may have bought the last one, because it's not listed anymore. Very cool little gadgets though.
