| Site Overview |
| The American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP) is owned by Decision Analyst, Inc. located in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area in the United States. Despite the name, ACOP operates worldwide and welcomes international members for their paid online surveys. Membership with ACOP is completely free and the panel is described as “a worldwide network of people who get paid for sharing their opinions and ideas by answering online surveys.”
Typically, ACOP will send out a “screener” survey which will be used to qualify you for the longer, paid survey. Screeners are typically short in length and by filling them out you will be entered into a drawing for multiple cash prizes. If you qualify for a longer paid online survey, you will be rewarded with a cash payment between $4 and $50, depending on the length of the survey. They will also, occasionally host an online focus group, which generally pay at least $25.
If you live in the United States or Canada any cash rewards for online surveys will be paid via check. Outside of the United States and Canada you will be paid by American Express gift cheque (just as good as cash).
You can probably expect to receive 1-2 paid survey opportunities per month. Of course this will vary based on your demographic. Again, you will first be sent the screener questionnaire followed by the actual online survey if you qualify.

( 8 )   | | | | ACOP has proven to be a very solid free paid survey site. The surveys are general interesting and function well. I usually recieve an invite, well a screener questionaire, at least once a month. The screener surveys can be a bit repetitive, but at least you get a drawing entry for filling them out, unlike most other sites where you get nothing if you don't qualify for the paid survey. I have been paid by them on multiple occassions, both for completing online surveys and for winning a drawing. Compensation amounts seem to match survey length. Checks are always sent in a timely manner and just show up in the mail. All around a very solid site. |

ACOP tends to send me surveys only a few times a month (usually 2-4), but consistently so. These surveys are actually screeners that take just a couple of minutes - if one passes the screening, they will be invited to a full blown survey, usually between $3-10. I have consistently received checks from such surveys about 3 weeks after taking the survey. I have not had a problem with completing a survey/screening survey, and have not had the need to contact their customer support. Even if one doesn't qualify for the full survey, you are entered into a lottery pool (I have received a couple of $5 checks this way).
A consistent, reliable survey panel - they unfortunately don't send out many surveys, though. |

| I'm only getting one screener a month. Qualified for one product test and received a full size product to use. I was paid within 6 weeks. A great survey company, I just wish I would get more surveys. I highly recommend signing up for this one! The product tests in itself are worth signing up for. |

| I receive the qualifiers all the time, but haven't qualified in a LONG time. They seem like a great company, but I've never won anything from them and I don't think I've ever received money from them even when I did qualify. All their surveys are drawings unless otherwise specified, or they send out checks unexpectedly. |

| The rewards for this program is a drawing, but , I have one of the drawings so far with $5, and I have only completed three surveys. Great site, I feel on this site, there is a greater chance to win on the drawings |

| Quite regular with screener questions, and have got a couple of checks from drawings which is always a bonus as some doubt that anyone wins. Not qualified for many paid surveys that I recall though |

| I've been a member of American Consumer Opinion Panel for nearly 4 years. I get 2-minute survey screeners from them quite often, occasionally qualifying for a paid survey. Their paid surveys are interesting and easy to do (though sometimes rather time consuming) and pay around $4 -- $10. But don't dissmiss the screeners either, because you are entered in a prize drawing with good chances of winning (I've won $5 quite a few times). Checks arrive in a timely manner, a few weeks after you do the survey. Good, reliable company. |

| This is a great site that pays cash for each survey you qualify for, and the checks are very timely. The surveys are interesting and seems like I usually qualify for them. I average about 2 survey invitations each month. You don't have to reach a minimun dollar amount to be paid by check. |

| I do like this one. The surveys come about twice a month. Sometimes I qualify and sometimes I don't. If I do qualify it is for cash payment or a product testing which still I have always recieved cash compensation for testing. This is a good company. They pay in the time frame they say. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I don't make a lot of money doing this but I still enjoy doing there surveys and testing there products. |
